First of all, if you are on this page, you are most likely NOT a D1 prospect. So you have to do things differently. You have to understand your target schools and what support you need along the way.

There are two ways to approach this process:

The most common approach

Throw as many things at the recruiting wall as you can and hope some stick
Travel a lot and play in as many “showcase” events as you can
Hire the most expensive recruiting services

The outcome of this approach is likely disappointment. You will spend so much time and money chasing the Dream that you will miss your opportunity. If something “sticks” and you land at a D1 or D2 school – you might also never get to play…

The more successful approach

Understand that most players (66% or more) will play JC/NAIA/D3
Figure out your target college type/list through a 4-question process
Understand the NCAA eligibility rules and how playing JC ball can offer more eligibility
Create player profiles in an affordable way, that still get college coach attention

Select a schedule of Camps that maximize your exposure to colleges in your target schools
Play in some showcase events – even if you live in a rural area, play at a small HS or your local team doesn’t have the depth or talent to play in those events.

Clubs who play in these events are ALWAYS looking for additional players. Become a Fill In Player, make yourself available in our database. Let coaches contact you directly to check your availability to play with their team in these events.

Need a more cost-effective way to play highly competitive baseball? Become a Fill In Player. Many teams don’t charge Fill In Players. Create an affordable season for yourself. You could completely book up your Summer or Fall season if you get in the database early enough.
